Important notice: Effective April 2, 2018, the passport execution fee will increase from $25 to $35 for U.S. passport applicants using the DS-11 form, including first-time applicants over age 16, children under age 16, and applicants who reapply after reporting their previous passport lost or stolen. Accordingly, the total passport fee for such applicants will increase by $10. For more details, please visit our website at travel.state.gov.

The US Embassy in Kolonia is also pleased to announce newly dedicated hours for routine American Citizen Services (passport renewals, notarial services, Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, etc.) on Thursday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary during this time. American citizens may still come to the embassy during normal business hours for emergency service, or contact us after-hours on the duty phone listed below. The American Citizen Services Section does not handle visa inquires that U.S. citizens may have regarding non-U.S. citizen relatives or friends.
