Event: Travelers on United Airlines in the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) should be prepared for unexpected flight cancellations and limited flight availability.
United Airlines’ Guam based representative announced March 31 that effective immediately United will suspend service to/from Guam from now until mid-April except for:
- GUM-HNL-GUM daily
- GUM-NRT-GUM 3 weekly flights
- Full Island Hopper Service April 13/14
The Department of State has issued a Global Level 4 Health Advisory for COVID-19.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Level 3 Global COVID-19 Outbreak Notice.
On March 11, the Department of State authorized the voluntary departure of non-emergency U.S. Government employees and all eligible family members due to stringent travel restrictions that affect commercial flights.
