On Monday, March 23, the U.S. Embassy in Kolonia suspended routine non-immigrant visa appointments. This action does not apply to diplomatic/official visa applications. All services to U.S. citizens will continue, except for new requests for routine notarial services.
If you have a non-immigrant visa appointment scheduled after March 23, your visa appointment will be cancelled. You should not attend your previously scheduled appointment. We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but we are unable to provide a specific date at this time. If you have previously attended a visa interview, but your case was refused for additional information, please submit the requested information so that we can continue to process of your application.
Although in-person visa appointments are cancelled, visa application fees are valid for one year from the date of payment and applicants will be able to reschedule once visa services resume.
Visa applications that do not require an in-person interview will still be processed.

Please note that our ability to process visas requiring an in-person interview will be extremely limited.
