Pohnpei State Government Receives COVID-19 Testing Kits

Pohnpei State officials received COVID-19 testing kits from the US Government, kits that will allow health officials conduct in country testing instead of shipping samples to Guam or Honolulu. The Honorable Governor Reed B. Oliver along with Pohnpei State Director of Health & Social Affairs Mr. Wincener David and Pohnpei State Chief of Staff Ms. Suzanne Lowe Gallen received the kits from Ambassador Cantor. “I thank the U.S. government for supplying our state with the testing kits, we greatly appreciate your support ” said Governor Oliver.

Kosrae, Yap and Chuuk will also receive testing kits very soon.  These kits are funded by the U.S. Government through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
