On May 23rd U.S. Embassy Kolonia’s Chargé d’affaires Alissa Bibb and Joint Committee on Compact Review and Planning Chief Negotiator Leo Falcam, Jr. of the FSM today signed three agreements related to the U.S.-FSM Compact of Free Association: an Agreement to Amend the Compact, as Amended, a new Fiscal Procedures Agreement, and a new Trust Fund Agreement. With His Excellency President Wesley Simina and new administration on hand, these critical agreements between the United States and the FSM will encompass billions of dollars in assistance over the next twenty years.
